Crow of Mobile has announced his candidacy for the Alabama Court of Criminal
Appeals, Place 2.
Crow, 51, is running as a Republican, and has practiced law for 21 years. His
legal experience includes clerking with the U. S. Attorney’s office, private
practice, and 20 years of serving the State of Alabama as an Assistant Attorney
General, prosecuting criminal cases and handling civil matters all over Alabama.
“It is my belief that experience matters and this race will benefit from my
experience in trying cases in counties all over the state of Alabama,” he said
in a statement.
Crow said he hopes to continue serving the people of Alabama by being elected to
the Court of Criminal Appeals, and intends to draw upon his 20 years of
experience as an Assistant Attorney General to ensure that the law is applied to
the facts in every case.
“Alabama’s population and business growth are unprecedented and I believe it is
crucial now to make certain our appellate bench is filled with experienced,
hardworking people.”
Crow graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School and holds a dual bachelor’s
degree in history and literature from the University of Mobile. He earned his
law degree from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham. He is married to Louise
